Introduction

PCM-3680I is designed for connecting control units and transmissions in automation applications. CAN enables real-time data transmission and error detection; and even when errors accidentally occur, CAN networks will automatically repeat transmissions, drastically reducing data loss and providing higher levels of security. Furthermore, PCM-3680I features an optical isolation protection of 2500 VDC which greatly ensures system reliability by protecting data against damage.
