S7-300 CPUs module overview

Description

Compact CPUs with widths of 80 or 120 mm also offer integralI/O and integral technological functions. This onboard I/O (digital/analog) and the technological functions save additionalinvestments in other modules.

The S7-300 Compact-CPUs are especially suited for tasks, where fast counting/measuring with direct access to the hardware is required. They enable easy positioning with direct controlling of the MICROMASTER-frequency-conventer and include a PID-Control with an integrated function block.
