Bulletin 1768 CompactLogix™ Power Supplies and Bulletin 1769 slcpowersupply Compact I/O™ Expansion Power Supplies help keep your system running smoothly. Select power supplies based on the controller and the number of additional I/O banks you're using. Packaged controllers (1769-L23x, 1769-L16, 1769-L18, 1769-L24, 1769-L27) do not require power supplies because each controller package includes an integrated power supply.

SLC 500 Communications

Bulletin 1747 SLC™ 500 Communication Interface Modules let you add another slcpowersupply communication port to the SLC 500 controller. This adds network capability beyond the available on-board ports. Some modules provide an interface between a port on the controller and another communication link with a different protocol. Other modules communicate with the SLC processor over the system backplane.
