The weighing modules of the SIWAREX-WP2xx series are technology modules of the basic controllers SIMATIC S7-1200 and can be used in many fields of application: Beside that they are seamlessly integrated in TIA Portal.
In combination with the available standard components (CPU,HMI, DI, DQ, etc.) freely programmable weighing systems can be created and adapted to every specific requirement.
The excellent measuring values such as the high resolution of up to +/- four million parts guarantee a reliable weight measuring as well as accurate dosing results.

sm1281 condition monitoring

The SIMATIC S7-1200 condition monitoring system is able to continually check up on the state of the mechanical components. In this way, it creates the basis for predictive maintenance. Users can respond promptly to impending damage and avoid the costly consequences that may include total failure. SIPLUS CMS1200 therefore makes acrucial contribution toward greater plant availability.

As many as 28 vibration sensors can be connected for each SIMATIC
S7-1200 CPU. The recorded data is analyzed by the internal software of the CMS1200 and stored on the SM 1281 condition monitoring module.

Regarding connection cable

A connection cable (length: 55mm), used to connect to the the right side of the device in front of the powered extension unit, is included with the powered extension unit.
To extend the distance of the connection, please use the optional "extension cable".

 

Function expansion board

The expansion board is designed to add the input and output terminal whose points are small to FX3S or FX3G PLCs. The board can be built in the PLC.

Regarding connection cable

S7-1200 PLC is suitable for small individual machine applications, whereas S7-300 PLC was previously targeted towards medium to high demand applications. However since it is nearing its end-of-lifecycle, S7-300/400 PLC series have been supplemented with the innovative S7-1500 PLC series. A new range of HMI panels are also available in all sizes for suitable operator control/monitoring.
