Job Title: Automation Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

• PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo Drive programming and integration
• Design and wire Control Panels, sizing of drives, selection of electrical components, motion control systems, and process control systems
• Define system configuration – control, power, and network layouts
• Define system requirements, implement, generating acceptance test procedures to document successful implementation
• Troubleshoot different control systems including but not limited to Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi, and GE-Fanuc
• Travel to customer sites for field troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning activities, perform scheduled preventive maintenance on control panels at customer sites
• Perform commissioning activities like panel installation, termination, and dry, cold, and hot tests. Perform FAT and SAT, and document testing procedures for control panels.
• Troubleshooting industrial communication network faults Modbus/Profibus/Profinet

Requirement-Mandatory:

• BTech with 2-4 years of experience in instrumentation, electrical, electronics
• Good troubleshooting, problem problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in control panel wiring, commissioning of machinery, and control panels
• Willing to travel within Pakistan up to 20% for projects
• Own a Bike with a valid driving License
• Proficiency in word and excel, and windows OS

Requirements-Good to Have:

• Hands-on experience with any major brand of PLC’s (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley)
• A resident of Karachi, Korangi/Landhi/Malir candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience with AUTOCAD Electrical, TIA Portal, Studio5000 software

Salary Range:

• PKR 45000 to 65000/- based on experience and expertise
